Should I drink lots of water? Yes, drinking fluids reduces the likelihood of crystals forming in the kidneys. As a general rule, drinking 8 large glasses of fluids a day (1.5 litres) is recommended. All drinks, except alcohol, count towards your fluid intake, including caffeine-containing drinks such as tea and coffee. Caffeine can act as a mild diuretic, which means it causes you to pass urine more often. However, regular tea and coffee drinkers develop a natural tolerance to caffeine and will only experience mild dehydration if they consume more than their usual amount. Caffeine itself may have no direct influence on the risk of developing gout, as research has shown that coffee intake, but not tea, may in some people be associated with slightly lower blood levels of uric acid than
Ok so these are a few of the best products you will want to incorporate into your diet to help your body stop any further Gout Attacks. I know these can be very painful and debilitating so the sooner you act the better and quicker results can be expected.
Procedure for Gout Home Remedies using Apple Cider Vinegar
Unfortunately, conventional medications for gout can cause many uncomfortable side effects and are not always effective.
This has prompted many to try alternative treatments such as apple cider vinegar for gout relief as outlined in the following two procedures:
Why is APPLE CIDER VINEGAR good for gout –
Drinking apple cider vinegar breaks up the uric acid crystals and prevents them from reforming in the joints by aiding blood circulation and purification. It reduces inflammation and swelling in the joints allowing for better flexibility of the joints
Ways to take Apple Cider Vinegar –
· Apple Cider Vinegar Drink
After taking the ACV drink for just two days, many people have reported a reduction in swelling and pain of the affected area.
Mix the following ingredients into an 8 ounce glass of water and drink 3 times a day with meals:
2 teaspoons raw honey (Optional – not recommended for diabetics)
2 teaspoons organic apple cider vinegar (Use an organic ACV which contains the “mother of vinegar” best being Braggs Organic Apple Cider Vinegar”)
· Apple Cider Vinegar Soak
This can be used along with the ACV drink or by itself.
Soak a cloth in undiluted ACV and wrap it around the affected area for at least 15 minutes. Or simply immerse the toe or other affected area in a vinegar bath made by mixing 1 cup (250 ml) of ACV into 3 cups (750 ml) of water.
- Apple Cider Vinegar and Montmorency Cherry Juice
Antioxidant bioflavonoids and anthocyanin’s found in cherries reduce inflammation of the joints and lower the level of uric acid in the blood.
Add a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to a glass of pure Montmorency cherry juice.
Give it a stir using a spoon and drink it up.
You can drink two glasses of this juice every day.

Just came across this site a short time ago, have now purchased a bottle of Braggs apple cider vinegar with fingers crossed for good results.
Been a sufferer of gout for some years now [too many to remember] to the extent where I have been restricted to bed if I could walk that far [assisted] or the nearest chair for three or four days.
Medication gave some relief but then there was the after effects of chronic stomach disorder resulting in massive attacks of constipation which necessitated in trips to emergency in the hospital at 2\3am.
At times my knees have been swollen to the size of a football and my feet so swollen you can barely see any toes.
So it is with great anticipation that I look forward to obtaining positive results.
Best of luck to all you sufferers of GOUT, unless you have been there you will never know the pain.
Will keep you informed of proceedings.
Cheers Bob T.

I have had a very painful swelling on a finger joint for over six years: this was diagnosed as gout.
At around the same time as this was diagnosed, a blood test came back with the news that I had excessive acid in my system.
Three weeks ago I ordered both items and started taking two tablespoons of cider vinegar (the good stuff Braggs), twice a day with the CherryActive Concentrate.
Within 48 hours the pain had gone. Within a week I noticed the swelling had reduced.
A week later the swelling had reduced to the point that I could see my finger joint again. At this point the hard masses that I have tolerated for six years are spongy and jelly-like.
I don’t know if the problem will disappear completely, but I have absolutely no complaints so far.
